Why aren't Audio Visual (AV) Services listed in the Venue Details?
Because every facility we have ever talked to has either an
in-house or a contracted AV facility. We may as well ask if they
have bathrooms!
Here is what is important: When you contact your venue to plan a meeting and need to make use of AV equipment, make sure you understand their rates and charges for setup/additional time. Ask the venue if they have multiple vendors.
If you hold a number of small meetings, you may find that it's cost effective to buy a good portable LCD projector rather than rent one each meeting (always bring a spare bulb!). Many venues have projection screens that they rent seperately from projectors. While you may gain peace of mind by using an AV vendor, your presenter may be perfectly capable of bringing equipment to the meeting.
